The one thing I can say about Kimberly McLaughlin is, she knows her clients! We were part timers to Bainbridge Island, who had dreams of moving there, but also knew that wasn't going to happen soon. Before 2008, we never thought we could afford a vacation/potential future home on the island. In 2011, we found ourselves able to realistically consider purchasing a home. We wanted a house with a rental apartment or ADU. Kim recognized that were were not in a hurry, and her patience and knowledge were appreciated. I cold called her office about a farm property that had recently sold, and felt like I had met someone who really cared about her clients.
We looked at homes over the course of 3 years and Kim never wavered in her commitment to look out for our best interest. In 2011, we did indeed find a property that fulfilled all of our requirements. Kim was able to assist us in navigating the challenges of buying a home 3000 miles away from where we lived. She is great at her job, and has so many other interests, that it is a pleasure to spend time with her, even 7 years after we closed on our home.
